The Macoupin County Public Health Department was established in 1983 by the Macoupin County Board and is governed by the Macoupin County Board of Health. When the health department first opened, there was just one location and nine employees. The department has undergone incredible growth through the years and today, there are more than 140 employees working at seven different locations.

CARLINVILLE LOCATIONS:
Morgan Street Clinic – Medical, Dental, and WIC services
Oakland Avenue Clinic – Administration, Healthy Families, Safe Families (domestic violence program) and Behavioral Health services
LITCHFIELD LOCATIONS:
Columbian Boulevard Dental Clinic – Dental services
St. Francis Way Clinic – Level One Treatment and Recovery services
