Macoupin County Tobacco-Free Coalition

Purpose: To provide Macoupin County residents with the opportunity to collaborate toward a tobacco free Macoupin County through tobacco education and promotion of cessation resources.

The Macoupin County Tobacco-Free Coalition is working toward the following goals for the 2011-2012 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012).

Goal – Increase Smoke Free Illinois Act compliance

           Objective – Conduct media/outreach campaigns

            Objective – Provide education materials to all Macoupin County law enforcement agencies.

Goal – Improve restrictions to youth access of tobacco products.

            Objective – Conduct media/outreach campaigns

            Objective – Provide education materials to Macoupin County public establishments

Goal – Increase calls to the Illinois Tobacco Quitline by Macoupin County residents.

            Objective – Conduct media/outreach campaigns
