Biography:

Ron is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with deep roots in central Illinois. Born and raised in the Springfield area and a graduate of Litchfield High School, Ron has spent his life serving others in meaningful ways. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1984 to 1987 in Air Cavalry, working on helicopters of all kinds. After his military service, Ron spent over 20 years in the criminal justice field, where he encountered people at some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Those experiences helped shape his passion for helping others find healing, direction, and hope. That calling led Ron back to school at Liberty University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2015 and his master’s degree in 2017. Today, he brings not only clinical training, but real-life experience, compassion, and understanding into every session. Ron believes that every person has a story worth hearing and a life worth restoring. He takes a down-to-earth, respectful approach to counseling, meeting people where they are, and walking alongside them through whatever they may be facing. No matter the situation, Ron’s goal is to create a safe, supportive space where people feel heard, understood, and encouraged as they move forward.
