Jamie grew up in Staunton, Illinois, where her strong roots and sense of community began. A graduate of Staunton High School, she went on to pursue her passion for caring for others by attending nursing school in Springfield, Illinois. Jamie is married, with two children and three grandchildren who bring joy and pride to her life. She’s a big animal lover, happiest when surrounded by pets, and she enjoys spending time in her garden, nurturing plants and watching things grow. Music is another constant in her life, offering comfort and inspiration. Jamie is also an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, where her faith and community involvement continue to play an important role in her life.
