Compassionate Care for You and Your Baby
Preparing for and welcoming a baby brings many changes to your life. While it can be an exciting experience, it’s important that mothers and babies feel supported through this major life transition. Doulas are trained, nonmedical professionals who provide physical, emotional, and informational support to mothers and their infants before, during, and after labor. Whether you’re expecting or have just had a baby, our doulas are here to provide personalized care at every step.
Postpartum doula support
Having a postpartum doula can help ease the transition into caring for your newborn in the hospital and at home. After giving birth, a postpartum doula helps support the mother and baby with:
• Newborn care guidance (feeding, swaddling, and soothing)
• Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
• Emotional reassurance and active listening
• Education on postpartum recovery and infant development
• Monitoring emotional maternal mental health and offering referrals if needed
This support ensures mothers are supported during recovery, babies are given the care they need, and partners and families can feel confident caring for their newest member.
